FDA Approves Tribenzor

The FDA approved Daiichi Sankyo’s Tribenzor, a new 3-in-1 combination product for the treatment of patients whose hypertension is not adequately controlled on any 2 of the following: angiontensin receptor blockers, calcium channel blockers, or diuretics. Tribenzor is not indicated for initial therapy. Tribenzor combines olmesartan medoxomil, (an angiotensin II receptor blocker), amlodipine (a dihydropyridine calcium channel blocker), and hydrochlorothiazide (a thiazide diuretic).
