Generic Tamsulosin Approved

The FDA has approved Impax Laboratories’ ANDA for tamsulosin hydrochloride 0.4 mg capsules, indicated for the treatment of the signs and symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia. The medication is the generic equivalent of Flomax by Boehringer Ingelheim Pharmaceuticals and will begin shipping immediately.
