Acyclovir Shortage Update

The FDA reports that GlaxoSmithKline has increased acyclovir tablet production due to increased demand, with 400 mg (100 count) and 800 mg (100 count) tablets currently available. Acyclovir 200 mg (100 count) capsules will be available by the end of March 2010. Mylan Pharmaceuticals anticipates having acyclovir tablets and capsules available soon.
